2019 Fellows

The WeavEast Fellows are a geographically diverse community of support for change making activities across Atlantic Canada. Selected through a competitive application process, fellows are engaged to source first-hand, first-voice information from communities across the region to help set the direction for WeavEast. Fellows will be engaged in storytelling, ecosystem mapping, and community engagements that will help identify the most impactful services, resources and programs that WeavEast can provide over the next few years.

By identifying who is contributing to the social innovation ecosystem and what type of contribution they are making, we hope to learn:

  1. What the balance of observers vs changemakers looks like.

  2. What it will take to engage more changemakers in this region (training, resources, support).

  3. Where momentum is clustering in Atlantic Canada around particular areas of work and need.
